Extension Care Information (cont.)
Do not attempt to remove your extensions Do not attempt to colour, perm relax or chemically treat your hair in any way. Do not swim in salt water or chlorine without proper products to help protect your hair. If your hair requires a chemical service before application of Great Lengths, you must have it done 1 week prior to your installation to allow proper installment procedure. You may experience a sore scalp for a few days after your new set of extensions or your maintenance fills. If you follow these instructions you can maintain and enjoy your extensions without damage to your own hair. When your extensions are too long. your hair can break because of the strain being caused by the weight of the extra hair. You must maintain your extensions with maintenance fill every 6-8 weeks. You will know when you are due for a fill as the hair will start to bother you when it is too far from the scalp. It is normal to have shedding of the extensions just like your natural hair sheds, anywhere from 50 to 100 strands per day or per washing or brushing is considered normal. You may also loose extensions from the hair throughout your wear if they do not bond properly to the hair
